Modern Wallpaper Tutorial

Today i will be showing you all how to make something like this wallpaper in Photoshop

1. Make a New Document the size you want the wallpaper to be and make sure the default colours are in place (black/white).

2.Go to Filter > Render > Clouds

3.Then go to Filter > Mezzotint > Long Strokes and Press Enter

4. Go to filter blur motion blur and use the following settings 90degrees 999pixels.

5. To get a more contrasting look duplicate the layer , rotate 180 degrees and put it on Overlay.

6. Then just add things like gradient maps and other effects and voila. You have a stylish wallpaper for your pc.
I used a marine blue to black gradient.
