Page Curl Tutorial

Creating a page curl in photoshop is fairly novice but is useful all the same. Hope you learn something from this and yes there will be more tutorials coming. My assistant today is the lovely Mila Kunis

Step 1

Select the selection tool. Make sure its the rectange selection tool and select the corner you want you curl. I will be curling the bottom right. Then go to the Edit menu, Transform > Warp and drag the bottom right point of the mesh up left till you get some curly effect. I gave it sort of a distorted curl for effect but a 45 degree curl would look good also

Step 2

As you can see it shows the bottom of the image.  We dont want that, so what we have to do is, create the underside of the page by ourselves using the Pen tool (P). Follow the curl of the border and you should have something like this

Then just add the gradient overlay to the for shading and your finished. Use and Black and White gradient and change the angle to about 120°. Easy huh?
